1. Licence and rights of use

All explanations presented in Twick.it are subject to the Creative-Commons Attribution (CC-BY). According to CC-BY further use of the content is permitted as long as the author is mentioned. Both GDFL as well as CC-BY permit the commercial use of content. Twick.it users abdicate the right of utilisation of explanations published in Twick.it.

2. Accountability

Twick.it users are responsible for their explanations. This includes external links set by usera. The webmasters of Twick.it do not ssume liability for external links.  Twick.it users commit themselves to respect international laws. Twick.it users respect the rules for productive cooperation which are formulated in the Twick.it Charter.

3. Prohibitions

It is forbidden to twick illegal content. It is forbidden to twick in the real name of another person (whether living of dead). It is forbidden to use Twick.it in combination with tools of automation. Especially automated registering of accounts, automated formulation of Twicks and automated valuation are forbidden. It is allowed to access data using the Twick.it API.
It is forbidden to hack or skip security routines and access other users’ data.

4. Blocking and deletion of accounts

Illegal, pornographic, vulgar and insulting content will be deleted irrevocably from the database by the webmasters as soon as they are informed about such. Twick.it reserves the right to block accounts if a user does not follow the general terms and conditions (AGB).

5. Content of the website

The webmasters assume no warranty regarding actuality, correctness, completeness or quality of the published information. Claims against the webmasters which relate to material or immaterial damage due to the use or disuse of the published information or the use of incomplete or wrong information are excluded categorical, as long as the webmaster can not be proved purposeful wrong or very negligent behaviour.

All content and applications are subject to change and without obligation. The webmasters explicitly reserve the right to change, supplement or delete contents or even the whole website without prior notice.

6. Pointers and links

Direct or indirect links to external internet content which are outside the area of responsibility of the webmasters would lead to a liability only in the case if the webmasters are informed of the content and it is technical possible and reasonable to stop the usage of illegal content.

The author of a Twick confirms that the linked website was free of illegal content at the time of adding the link. The author has no influence on the momentary and future design and content of the linked websites. The author distances himself explicitly from all contents of the linked websites which have changed since the time of adding the link. Liable for illegal, misleading or incomplete contents and damages which occur by the use or disuse of such information is only the person responsible for the website which has been linked, not the person who has directed to the respective content.

The content of Twicks not necessarily reflects the opinion of the webmasters. Twicks offer information without warranty which may be used or disused at own risk. No jurisdictional or medical accountable consultation is given.

8. Legal effectiveness of this exclusion of liability

This exclusion of liability is to be considered as part of the website which has linked to this page. Should parts or formulations of this text not correspond to current law anymore the other parts of the document remain valid.
